Get ready to experience a true British motoring classic with this
stunning 1958 Aston Martin DB2/4 MKIII! This incredibly rare car is
just one of 83 DB2/4 MKIII's ever built in the left-hand drive
configuration. Laying the foundation for the iconic DB2/4 Marl1 and
DB2/4 MkII models, this car was fitted with an advanced 2.6-liter
twin cam inline-6 designed by W.O. Bentley - originally created for
Lagonda and later acquired when David Brown purchased Lagonda,
forming the legendary Aston Martin Lagonda pairing. Featuring the
optional high-compression 165hp engine, further mechanical and
cosmetic refinements, and a reshaped front grille to mimic the
successful DB3S race car, this car is a true testament to Aston
Martin's illustrious history. Delivered new in 1958 by the Aston
Martin dealership in Pasadena, CA, this car was then sold by its
first owner in 1983. Under its second ownership of more than 39
years, this car underwent a complete mechanical restoration in 2007
totaling more than $85,000 and still retains its original
numbers-matching drivetrain, all original body panels, interior,
and glass. The paintwork shows signs of age through cracking and
blemishes while the interior and glass are extremely nice.
Inspiring and technical all at once, this car is a must-have for
any collector.
