1960 DESOTO FIREFLITE 4DR.
Pretty nice 1960 DeSoto Fireflite, the second to last year the proud make would exist. In February 1961 it was all over for DeSoto.
This car was "restored" a few years ago but I am not sure what exactly was done. I can see that there's bondo in rocker panels and rear wheel lips. The car was repainted and it now needs a good polishing. The seats and carpet were redone also I can see.
The engine looks great and it runs fine, there is no documentation showing if it was rebuilt or not.
Right now nothing happens when pressing the reverse button for the Torqueflite transmission and when pressing the neutral button the car still pulls forward, not sure if it is just an adjustment or something internal in the transmission.
The car drives very well and it is complete. Personally I'd check the transmission.and then drive the car as is for a long time.
The Arizona title states that the mileage, 79.648 miles is the correct mileage but I have no way to know if that is right or not.
The DeSoto is in Phoenix, Arizona and I'll sell anywhere in the US or on export through the port of Los Angeles.
