History
We have a very hot looking red 1966 Cadillac DeVille Convertible
here at Adventure Classics that Cadillac that is in good restored
condition for a 57 year old automobile.
This car is made for kicking back and cruising down the road in
style. It is also the kind of car that epic long-distance road
trips are made of.

Under the hood you will find a big Caddy engine that has plenty of
power to get this car moving off the line, although its not about
wheel spinning horsepower as much as it is big torque that gets
things moving without a lot of drama.
The engine compartment is understated with black the theme of the
day and looks like it is all factory original just like it left the
showroom with the power steering and brakes, air conditioning, and
all other stock looking parts.
The power is sent back through a 3-speed automatic transmission to
the rear wheels and there is great exhaust system on the car so you
can cruise quietly and enjoy the music or the conversation.
The car rides on white sidewall tires mounted on steel wheels with
full hubcaps with the Cadillac crest in the center.
Interior
Open the door and slide in and you are in a black interior that is
as spacious and comfortable as your living room in both the front
and back seats.
The interior is very stylish with the power operated black
convertible roof matching the black seating surfaces. There is a
three spoke steering wheel with a Cadillac emblem in the center and
a horizontal speedometer, controls for the climate control system,
matching door panels, black carpeting, factory instrumentation,
radio, air conditioning, black floor mats, and great back seat
too.
Exterior
The DeVille was redesigned for 1966 with stacked headlights and
smaller tail fins and ours is painted in bright red with a black
soft top, wide grill, large front and rear chrome bumpers, and the
long hood with the Cadillac crest on it.
A straight line of chrome side molding trim runs from the front to
the back with the iconic Cadillac fins capped by big tall
taillights integrated with the rear bumper.
