Car History
We have a great looking 1969 Pontiac Grand Prix in stunning
Palladium Silver here at Adventure Classics that has been restored
and is verified with factory build sheets and PHS documents to be a
real SJ with the 428 cubic inch big block Pontiac engine and an
automatic transmission.
Engine & Drivetrain
Under the hood, it has a 428 cubic inch Pontiac V8 engine that has
a four barrel carb and still retains much originality with the
engine block, heads, and intake painted in Pontiac blue paint,
chrome factory valve covers, black factory air cleaner system with
the chrome lid and the 428-4 decal on it, factory cast iron exhaust
manifolds, dual exhaust, air conditioning, PS, PB, and looking all
factory original too.
It has power disc brakes, a rare front automatic level control, the
Turbo Hydramatic automatic transmission, Safe-T-Track differential,
and rides on factory polished Rally II wheels and Galaxy raised
white letter Radial GT tires.
Interior
Inside of our aqua GP is very original looking pair of front bucket
seats and matching rear seats with the factory door panels, the
original looking dash instrument panel with the factory gauges and
wood grain trim, factory pushbutton AM/FM radio, full-length center
console that has the floor mounted automatic shifter, factory black
steering wheel, air conditioning, and power windows.
Exterior
The Palladium Silver paint shines well over the sheet metal with
the pronounced Coke bottle styling that highlighted these 1969
Grand Prix's.
Ours looks great with the front and rear chrome bumpers, Grand Prix
badging, Arctic glass soft ray tinted windows, and that great
two-door Pontiac Grand Prix styling with the long hood and short
rear deck.
Conclusion
The 1969 Pontiac Grand Prix 428 SJ we have at Adventure Classics is
a classic big car that is great to cruise in and a real classic car
with a lot of power and style.
It is a mostly original car that makes it a special cruiser. You
just don't find Great Cruisers in this nice of condition
anymore.
